Learning independent of location and time

Swiss Online Gymnasium is a fully digital Gymnasium. It prepares its students for the Federal Matura examination, which takes place twice a year and is administered by the Federal Matura Commission (more information here). Passing the Matura examination qualifies students to study at all universities and universities of applied sciences. The Federal Matura is internationally recognised, making it easier to access renowned universities and educational institutions abroad. Students have the opportunity to continue their academic career abroad as well.

The learning content is presented in multimedia format on the learning management platform. Through regular assignments and projects on various topics, learning progress is continuously reviewed and what has been learned is reinforced. Subject teachers provide feedback on all submissions. If there are questions or difficulties, a teacher is also available online for direct or indirect communication. Everyone learns at their own pace, without time pressure. There are no admission requirements. Our philosophy is: We support everyone on their path to their goal, but each at their own individual pace. In the final year, real Matura examinations are held, corrected by our teachers and provided with feedback. In addition, the Matura thesis is supervised individually.
