Kindergarten „Matryoshka“
Our Matryoshka kindergarten is one of the first innovative preschool institutions in Switzerland. Everything sensible and the best from the traditional Russian preschool pedagogy and the organization of the baby’s regimen (three meals a day and a nap on fresh sheets), everything useful from the European pedagogical systems is the basis of the two-day structure of the kindergarten: physical (exercise and physical education), developing (development of Russian speech and the basics of mathematical concepts, manual labor), musical and rhythmic classes, books, cartoons, holidays.
The Matryoshka Children’s Center creates all the conditions for motivating children to learn the language and maintain Russian culture and traditions.
We hold children’s matinees and graduation parties, organize Russian holidays – Christmas tree, March 8, Easter.
We work in well-equipped premises.
The educational program of the kindergarten „Matryoshka“ is built on the principles of developmental education for bilingual children in accordance with age psychology and preschool pedagogy.
A Russian-speaking kindergarten is a unique opportunity to lay the foundations for balanced bilingualism from an early age, when the child’s speech centers and cognitive activity are in the phase of intensive development.
Children in kindergarten are joy and great hope, this is a unique period of human life for acquiring a great foundation of knowledge of the world. Therefore, we, taking care of our kids, supporting their curiosity and freshness of feelings, fostering kindness and a sense of friendship in them, value their right to independent discoveries, personal manifestations and a happy childhood.
Dear Parents! We are pleased to offer your little ones unique educational activities in the early musical development play group on Wednesdays.
In the classroom, kids:
- play role-playing mobile musical games,
- learn children’s songs, train memory, develop vocabulary,
- get to know the world around and learn to listen to music,
- express themselves through visual and applied art.
Thanks to an integrated approach, kids receive skills and abilities that correspond to the preschool period, necessary for further comprehensive development.
Targets and goals
- prepare children for classes where Russian is taught as a native;
- to form in children the skills of active and free communication in Russian;
- development of speech and reading;
- listening: the ability to understand by ear the information contained in both monologue and dialogical speech.
