KiTs – Biligual Day School

KiTs – Bilingual Day School with individual talent promotion (started in summer 2005) offers bright children of the primary and secondary level a learning environment that is tailored to their needs and builds on their strengths. We address children between the ages of 2 and 15 with average to above average gifted and bilingual children.

Daily structure:
By networking lessons and leisure time, the school becomes lifelike and holistic. The leisure time spent together over lunch and the supervised off-peak times provide space for social learning processes. The daily structure should also relieve working parents. External children can also be looked after by arrangement.

Curriculum:
The KiTs – Bilingual Day School is a private school approved by the Education Department of the Canton of St.Gallen. The lessons include the cantonal curriculum. The change to the public school or to secondary schools is guaranteed.

Advancement:
The small classes make it possible to support all children individually within the group. Exciting learning areas are deepened in additional weekly talent development lessons. The children get to know and develop their talents through independent research and experimentation under supervision as well as through the exchange and recording of their findings. The additional remedial lessons are also offered as a pull-out program for external children.

Bilingualism:
Thanks to the daily German and English language learning environment, the children acquire a second language as well as their mother tongue.

Classes:
The lessons take into account the talents, the level of development and the learning speed of the children. Curiosity and the joy of learning are aroused and self-confidence is strengthened by the successes experienced.

Parent contact:
The exchange between parents and teachers is particularly important for the well-being of the children. If desired, parents can also rely on the expert support of our advisory team in matters of upbringing.

Clarifications:
On request, our advisory team will make location assessments and potential analyzes so that the teachers can support the children optimally, individually and in a strength-oriented manner. Further psychological clarifications, such as learner type determination, are also possible.

Therapies:
Bright children are able to compensate for any deficits in such a way that they go unnoticed for a long time. Unfortunately, such avoidance strategies often take revenge later, when the children no longer have any alternatives. On request, those affected can work with our advisory team so that a small weakness does not become a stumbling block.

Sustainability:
Through the continuous use of green care professional cleaning products, the KiTs makes a contribution to sustainability and safety for people and the environment.

The KiTs day care center in Bronschhofen SG offers pedagogically valuable support that complements the family.

Advancement:
We encourage the development of each and every one of the children entrusted to us and support their development in social, emotional and intellectual terms. The children are encouraged in their independence and accompanied by us. “We help you to do it yourself” – a concept of helping people to help themselves.

Support and activities:
In the day care center, the children learn to communicate and play with their peers.
A loving but clear handling of the boundaries that apply to everyone, as well as a benevolent atmosphere through affection is very important to us. We offer the children many outdoor activities, e.g. trips to the nearby forest.

The regular exchange between parents and educators enables us to provide the best possible support for the child.

Bilingualism:
From the age of 2, we also offer interested children the opportunity to immerse themselves in the English language in a playful way.
